Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi is organizing the Alaqsa Million March today (Sunday) along Shahrah-e-Faisal to show solidarity with the Palestinians and other victims of Israeli aggression. All necessary arrangements for the event have been finalized, with one side of the road designated for women and children. The march will be addressed by JI Pakistan Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman.

The demonstration is expected to draw significant crowds as a statement against ongoing Israeli policies in Palestinian territories. In preparation for the event, JI Karachi AmeerMonemZafar visited the City Court Karachi, where he met with the President of the Karachi Bar Council (KBC) and other key figures from the lawyers’ fraternity. Following the meeting, the legal community voiced their overwhelming support for the march, joining hands with JI in condemning Israeli actions.

During a joint press conference with KBC leaders, including Amir Waraich, Monem Zafar praised Palestinian freedom fighters and criticized the silence of Muslim governments regarding Israeli violence.

He emphasized that while students in the U.S. and Western nations have been actively protesting their governments’ support for Israel, Muslim governments have failed to take any substantial action, remaining silent in the face of crimes against humanity. The march is expected to serve as a prominent demonstration of public support for Palestinians and a call for greater action from Muslim-majority
