JUI Sindh announces schedule for intra-party elections

The intra-party elections of JamiatUlema-e-Islam (JUI) Sindh will take place on today, September 26 in Sukkur. The provincial general council’s electoral meeting is set to commence at 10 AM at JamiaHamadiya in Sukkur.

The elections will be overseen by Maulana Ata-ul-HaqDarwish, the central chief election commissioner of JUI, along with central election assistants Mohammad AslamGhori, Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro, and provincial election commissioner MaulanaSalehAndhar. Hundreds of members from the JUI Sindh general council have begun arriving in Sukkur from across the province.

These members will represent all thirty districts at the provincial council meeting. Sami-ul-Haq Swati emphasized that the members of the provincial general council will exercise their voting rights for the next five years. Members will receive their membership cards before participating in the voting process, which will be conducted through secret ballot.
