KARACHI – MDCAT 2024 saw mismanagement incidents, and claims of paper leak and now Young Doctors decided to approach court over the protests of medical aspirants.
Aspiring doctors in Karachi and parts of Sindh faced serious challenges, including prolonged waiting times, and paper leaks claims also emerged, prompting criticism from student organizations.
These concerns led to plans for legal action and protest movement by Young Doctors Association Sindh. Amid the growing heat, YDA JPMC announced to approach the High Court amid allegations that exam paper was leaked on social media before the test.
Students body claimed that more than half of exam questions leaked online were in the paper that appeared online.
‘MDCAT Paper Leak’
In this regard, officials sent a message to Dow University of Health Sciences, the Chief Secretary of Sindh, and Sindh Chief Minister, demanding formation of an investigative committee to look into the matter.
On Sunday, Dow University officials turned down reports of MDCAT paper leak, saying circulated paper was merely a guess paper and insisted that official exam paper was not leaked.
With the latest controversy, MDCAT exam future hangs in the balance, and further details are yet to surface online.
