ISLAMABAD – Hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday.
However, isolated light rain is expected in the upper parts of the country during the period.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, hot and dry weather is expected in the twin cities and most parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday. However, partly cloudy weather with isolated light rain is expected in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Islamabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37°C on Monday and 36-38°C on Tuesday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37°C on Monday and 36-38°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan during the last 24 hours.
Nokkundi remained the hottest place in Pakistan where the maximum temperature was recorded at 43°C. Maximum temperature in Dadu, Padidan and Dalbandin was recorded at 42°C.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 71 per cent.
In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 43 per cent.
