LONDON – Pakistan on Tuesday achieved a significant milestone in international sports by delivering an outstanding performance at the Long Range Shooting Championship held in the UK.
The event, which took place from September 3 to 8 at the prestigious Bisley Ranges, witnessed Pakistan emerging as a formidable competitor on the global stage.
Approximately 160 elite shooters from 18 countries participated in the championship.
Pakistan’s team, consisting of 18 shooters, made a strong impression with their exceptional skills and competitive spirit.
The Pakistani team achieved a remarkable haul of medals, including 3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze. Notably, Junaid Khatak and Ahmed Javed secured gold medals, highlighting their exceptional talent and precision.
In the FTR category, the team won several individual awards, further cementing their dominance in the sport.
Pakistan’s impressive performance also included securing three positions in the overall Top 10, showcasing their excellence among the world’s top shooters.
