ICC delegation to visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025

LAHORE – International Cricket Council (ICC) would send a delegation to Pakistan in the coming days to review the preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy, sources close to the development said on Monday

Sources said that the delegation’s visit would include inspections of the ongoing upgrades at stadiums in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials would brief the ICC team on the progress of construction work and other related developments at these venues.

Moreover, the ICC delegation is expected to meet with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during their visit. They would also receive detailed briefings regarding the accommodation and security arrangements for visiting foreign teams.

The PCB assured stakeholders that all upgrades would be completed by December.

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi in February and March of the upcoming year.
