CM Murad approves Rs500m under PITP

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah while chairing the signing of an MoU for the Peoples Information Technology Program (PITP), aimed at enhancing IT skills and reducing poverty in Sindh. According to Sukkur IBA University spokesperson on Saturday, the ceremony was attended by the Chief Ministers Secretary Rahim Sheikh, Secretary School Education, Zahid Abbasi, and Secretary Universities and Boards Abbas Baloch, along with Vice Chancellors Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi (NED University), Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh (Sukkur IBA University), and Prof. Dr. Tuaha Hussain (Mehran University).

The MoU, signed with Sukkur IBA University, followed by NED University and Mehran University, will provide industry-recognized certifications to 10,000 young people. Rs 500 million has been approved for the program, with courses covering roles like Java Developer and Data Scientist.
