On Monday, the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was observed with deep religious fervor and respect in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Noushehroferoze, as well as Rohri, PanoAqil, and KotDiji. The day was marked by MajalisAza programs, seminars, and conferences across various towns, emphasizing the sacrifices and contributions of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) to Islam.
Speakers paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 companions who laid down their lives for a sacred cause. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), the younger grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the son of Hazrat Ali (RA) and Hazrat Fatima (RA), was honored with mourning processions throughout northern Sindh. These processions highlighted the significance of the day and commemorated the martyrs of Karbala. Prominent speakers emphasized that Azadari is a vital spiritual defense against colonial powers, echoing the voices of Zainab (RA) and Zain-ulAbideen (RA).
