Wahab marks Independence Day at KMC

On Independence Day, Mayor Barrister MurtazaWahab led the celebrations at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) building, where he hoisted the national flag. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Municipal Commissioner S.M. AfzalZaidi, elected local representatives, department heads, and a large number of staff members. During the ceremony, Mayor Wahab also inaugurated a tree-planting campaign by planting a sapling at the KMC’s central office. Deputy Mayor Murad and Municipal Commissioner Zaidi participated in the planting as well.

Mayor highlighted that KMC is the largest organization providing municipal services and extended Independence Day greetings to all residents of Karachi. He urged KMC officials to continue their dedicated service to the citizens and emphasized ongoing efforts to address the city’s challenges.
