LAHORE – Former finance minister Asad Umar was shifted to a cardiology hospital in Lahore after his health deteriorates during appearance in an anti-terrorism court on Tuesday.
A video circulating on social media shows people taking him to a vehicle for shifting him to hospital.
Reports said the former minister has been shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore, for treatment.
The hospital administration told media that his health condition was out of danger after he was administered medicine, adding that the ECG report was normal.
His health condition worsens after he reportedly took blood pressure medicine on empty stomach.
