Chairman Senate Syed YousafRazaGilani has said that ‘Art’ has always been a powerful medium to raise awareness and promote understanding among people.
Speaking after inaugurating a fundraiser art exhibition at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) on Friday, he extended heartfelt appreciation to all the artists who have dedicatedly worked to make this exhibition a success and contributed immensely to our cultural heritage.
YousafRazaGilani remarked that such a wonderful work transcends boundaries, connects hearts, and conveys messages that words often fail to express.
Such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping a positive and soft image of the country on the global stage, he added.
Addressing the participants, he observed, “As we continue to face various challenges as a nation, it is the spirit and resilience of our artists that often provide us with hope and a sense of identity.
Their work fosters dialogue, encourages empathy, and promotes peace and harmony within our society.”
The Chairman Senate called for supporting and encouraging artists in their endeavors.
He also emphasized that such exhibitions also need to be organized at provincial levels specially Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. The Chairman Senate was also accompanied by Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Faisal KarimKundi during the exhibition. He also lauded the work of young artists.
