LAHORE – The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department of Punjab has launched a service for issuance of e-registration cards for vehicles for the ease of drivers so they can avoid penalties.

It is mandatory for people to get their vehicles registered with Excise department to avoid traffic challans and other legal complications.

The excise department issues registration cards of vehicles to citizens. It is mandatory for the owners to carry the excise registration card of their vehicles while driving them as it can be demanded by security officials to verify the status of the vehicle.

Besides issuing hard-copy of the registration card, it has launched a new services enabling the owners to download the virtual registration card of their vehicles.

They can easily download it from the official website of the excise department.

How to Free Download E-Registration Card for Vehicles

Firstly, you need to visit the official website of excise department: https://excise.punjab.gov.pk/

Click the “E-registration Card” button in menu bar

You will land on a new page https://vrcentpunjab.com/card

Here you will enter vehicle registration number and chassis number before hitting the search button

After the completion of the verification, you will get the e-registration card

There is no fee for downloading the e-registration card.
