NADRA NICOP fee update for Malaysia in July 2024

LAHORE – Pakistani citizens who intend to visit to Malaysia for work are required to obtain National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) from the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra).

Any citizen of Pakistan can apply for NICOP and can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa in case of dual nationality. A passport number is a mandatory pre-requisite in case of applying for NICOP of newborn babies if they are born abroad.

Where to Apply for NICOP

You can apply for your NICOP by either visiting NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through Pak-Identity website.

NADRA Registration Center (NRC)

You can apply for NICOP by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).

Following are the steps which you will be following at the NRC:

You will be issued a token

Your photograph will be captured

Your fingerprints and signature will be taken

Your required data entry will be done and form will be printed to be reviewed by yourself

You will be handed over a printed version of your application form.

Pak Identity Website

You can apply for your Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) by visiting Pak Identity website and have it delivered to your doorstep.

New NICOP Fee for Malaysia in Pakistan for July 2024

As of July 2024, the normal fee for new NICOP in Pakistan stands at Rs5,820 while urgent fee is Rs8,730 and executive fee stands at Rs11,640.

However, the normal fee for new NICOP through online is $20 while the urgent and executive fee stand at $30 and $40 respectively.
