ISLAMABAD – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in Rawalpindi on Friday.
He was accompanied by Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
The visiting dignitary was briefed about JF-17 thunder fighter jets and other defense equipment.
Meanwhile, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has left for home after a two-day visit to Pakistan.
On Thursday, Pakistan and Azerbaijan reached an agreement to boost their bilateral investment to as much as $2 billion, focusing on projects that would benefit both nations.
During a joint press briefing with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, following the signing of various agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated, “We have discussed an initial investment figure of $2 billion for projects of mutual benefit.”
