LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday demolished/sealed eight illegal buildings in Lahore.
The LDA teams demolished three buildings and sealed another five for violation of bylaws during operation in LDA Avenue-I and Jubilee Town. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out by enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
