Lumiere, Sonia Azhar among 15 outlets sealed in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Monday, LDA teams sealed more than 15 businesses including Lumiere, Sonia Azhar, restaurants, showrooms and private offices in Gulberg and Faisal Town for not paying commercialization fee. Director LDA Town Planning Zone-III Sidra Tabassum supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement team and the Police.
As per the officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
