MUMBAI – Bollywood’s renowned actress Sonakshi Sinha, who got married to her Muslim friend Zaheer Iqbal, broke her silence regarding the news of her pregnancy.
Immediately after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, news about the actress’s pregnancy began circulating in the Indian media. These rumors started when the actress and her husband were seen coming out of Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital just two days after their wedding.
It was being said that Sonakshi Sinha was pregnant and that was the reason for her visit to the hospital. However, the actress has now responded to these rumors.
In an interview given to Indian media, Sonakshi Sinha mocked the circulating rumors about her pregnancy by asking, “Can’t I even go to the hospital now?”
Sonakshi Sinha said that the only change in her life after marriage is that now she can’t go to the hospital because if she goes with Zaheer, people will assume that they are expecting a child.
Speaking about her husband, the actress said that she considers herself very lucky to be married to Zaheer Iqbal. When they went to Singapore for their honeymoon, fans congratulated them on their wedding with pastries. It was very heartwarming to see that everyone was happy about their marriage.
Sonakshi Sinha further said that fans told them that they had seen their wedding videos, which made her feel like everyone participated in her and Zaheer’s wedding.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had been dating each other for the past seven years and got married on June 23 last month in the presence of their family and a few close friends.
