Muharram 2024

Earlier, it was reported that Muharram moon is unlikely to be sighted today, Met Office said. In a recent update, PMD said the new moon of Muharram is expected to form at the conjunction point at 03:57 PST on July 6. Based on astronomical data, the new moon is not likely to be visible on the evening of July 6, which is the 29th Zilhij 1445 AH.

Furthermore, PMD forecasted partly cloudy to cloudy weather in most parts of the country, which could further hinder the visibility of the moon.
