Officers directed to expedite construction work

Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad directed the officers of nation buildings department to expedite construction work on people welfare oriented mega projects of University of Hafizabad and under construction of building of District Headquarter Hospital Hafizabad to ensure utilization of hundred percent funds available for the both mega projects of billion of rupees. He issued theses instruction while visiting the under-construction projects, on Friday. Deputy Director Development Tassawar Abbas and SDO buildings department were also accompanied her.

DC said that with the completion of these ongoing mega projects, the best healthcare and educational facilities would be available to people at local level.

She warned the officers to ensure use of standard material in execution of development projects while unjustified delay and use of substandard would not be tolerated at all.

Meanwhile, DC was inspected basic health units ChackChatha and Siooki and checked attendance of staff, record of medicines, medical facilities being provided to patients and standard of cleanliness in the BHUs.

During the visit, DC was directed the doctors to improve record of medicines in the store and hygienic condition in the BHUs.
