LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said she is proud of her team’s performance, saying that the dream of a clean Punjab is becoming a reality.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised public representatives, administration, waste management companies, local bodies and police for the excellent arrangements for Eid al-Adha.
She stated that the success of the 72-hour continuous zero-waste mission during Eid al-Adha is a great example of teamwork.
The cleanliness process in cities, towns and major villages was carried out in the best possible way, and the streets were washed with phenyl and rose water after disposing of the waste which is a new innovation.
Punjab CM Maryam said that security arrangements in Eidgahs, mosques, and Imambargahs were satisfactory. The good management of livestock markets made it easier for buyers and sellers.
Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafiq and his team demonstrated commendable performance.
She mentioned that commissioners, deputy commissioners and other waste management administrations also performed their duties well.
The CM said she is proud of her team’s performance and the dream of a clean Punjab is becoming a reality.
Punjab CM Maryam said that unlike the recent past, Lahore appeared clean and shining.
The cooperation of citizens with the government institutions for cleanliness is commendable, and the officers and staff lived up to the public’s expectations.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that despite the heat, the zero-waste mission was completed diligently.
She said that the process of making cities beautiful and clean must continue with the same spirit and dedication.
She said she wanted to see every city and village in Punjab clean and tidy.
