13 members of the same family fainted after eating toxic food in BastiEidGah, KhudianKhas area of Kasur on Thursday.
According to rescue officials, Asghar’s family got sick after eating the food and 13 people of the house were shifted to the hospital due to their deteriorating condition.
Among those who ate poisonous food include 65-year-old Gaman, 22-year-old Sajda, 11-year-old GhulamMurtaza, 22-year-old Mohammad Ashraf, 10-year-old Ayesha, Tobiah, 9-year-old Ali Asghar, 8-year-old Hasnain, 5-year-old Ayesha, 4-year-old Taiba and 3-year-old Fatima.
According to doctors, samples are being taken from the stomachs of all persons, including children, and are being sent to Lahore for forensics, but the condition of all persons is out of danger.
