The federal government would present its budget for fiscal year 2024-25 on June 12 as it has been rescheduled due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China.
State Minster for Finance Ali Pervez Malik confirmed the development, stating that the budget will be tabled in the National Assembly after the premier reach back from China. Sources said the meeting of the National Economic Council would take place on June 10 while economy survey would be presented on June 11.
The state minister said preparations are in full swing for the upcoming federal budget.
