Commencing with a recitation from the Quran, the event saw Professor Sahar Ansari presiding over the proceedings, with esteemed guests Retired Justice Wajihuddin Ahmed and Dr. PirzadaQasimRazaSiddiqui gracing the occasion. Dr. PirzadaQasimRazaSiddiqui delved into the spiritual essence of Sufi music, praising PremRagi’s sincere expression through his qawwalis. IqbalLatif commended FizaMoin’s comprehensive compilation of PremRagi’s life, noting the enduring popularity of his songs even a century later. HumairaAthar reminisced about PremRagi’s adherence to principles and his profound impact on gatherings.
