In a case involving allegations of assault andthe creation of obscene videos of wife as a member of the ‘Illuminati’member, Central Karachi Judicial Magistrate Madad Ali Khosa granted afive-day physical remand of the accused Tahir Abbas on Friday.Karachi police presented the arrested accused Tahir Abbas in court wherehis ex-wife also appeared and alleged that he was a member of a secret’Illuminati’ organization.
The judge handed Abbas over to police custody for five days on remanad.The investigating officer told the court that the case was filed byAbbas’s wife and that videos need to be recovered so the physical remandshould be granted.Abbas’s lawyer requested a medical examination for the wife and daughterto verify the claims of assault.In the court premisis while talking to media, accused Tahir Abbas deniedallallegations in the court and alleged that his wife’s behavior hadbeen suspicious for the past eight months and that she had previouslyengaged in modeling.
He said when he asked her to stop such acts, she threatened to takesevere actions against him.Abbas claimed that his wife’s cousin is a police officer and she hasconnections with politicians. He swore on his faith that he had notcommitted any indecent acts and that he only sought information aboutthe organization for knowledge.He also alleged that his wife’s uncle named NasirHussain is a member ofthe Illuminati.
