Three people were injured in a knife attack during an election rally of the National Conference in endhar area of Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a National Conference leader said that unknown assailants attacked the party’s rally with knives, causing chaos.
He said that as a result of the attack, at least three people were injured, one of whom is in a critical condition.
The police said all the three injured were shifted to a nearby hospital from where they were shifted to GMC, Rajouri, for further treatment. One seriously injured person has been identified as Sohail Ahmed, a resident of Mendhar town. The National Conference staged a protest demanding severe punishment for the attackers.—KMS
