‘Dubai Unlocked’

Dubai Unlocked report shows top figures who owned properties in Dubai. The dataset excludes properties registered under corporate entities and those in commercial zones.

Dozens of properties worth more than $600 million were owned by nearly 20 billionaires and their family members.

UAE’s appeal to leaders and business persons are attributed to its lack of capital gains or income taxes, making it an attractive place to invest.

The city’s luxury properties have seen a significant increase in value, attracting wealthy investors. Additionally, Dubai’s lack of extradition treaties with many countries has made it attractive to individuals seeking to avoid legal issues in their home countries.

Exclusive neighborhoods in Dubai, such as Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Islands, and Emirates Hills, are popular among billionaires. These areas feature luxury homes, championship golf courses, and upscale amenities. The investigation also uncovered properties owned by individuals with controversial backgrounds, including those facing criminal charges in their home countries.
