Two including a young girl were killed and 11 others injured as roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain here, rescue sources said on Sunday. Like many other cities of Punjab, heavy rain followed strong wind gusts lashed Chiniot resulting dilapidated roof of house in suburbs came down.
Two including a four-year-old girl were killed while 11 others were injured in the incident. Rescue personnel and local people through joint efforts pulled out the bodies and injured from debris and shifted them to hospital. Heavy rain turned the streets and markets of the city into pond.—APP
