In a bid to fortify community health and shield children from a spectrum of preventable diseases, the District Health Officer (DHO) of South Waziristan Lower, Dr. Inayatur Rehman, has announced the inauguration of intensified outreach activities for routine vaccinations.
Addressing the media on Sunday, Dr. Inayatur Rehman underscored the significance of proactive healthcare initiatives, marking May 13th, 2024, as the commencement date for the campaign. “Our mission is clear: to immunize all eligible children against a range of vaccine-preventable diseases,” remarked Dr. Rehman.
With a heartfelt plea to parents and guardians, Dr. Rehman stressed the pivotal role they play in safeguarding the well-being of their children. “I urge all parents and caregivers to bring their children forward for vaccination. Protecting them from potentially life-threatening illnesses is our shared responsibility,” he emphasized.
The campaign, ambitiously targeting a healthier South Waziristan Lower, calls for unified action from the community.
