In a display of solidarity and commitment to upholding the rule of law, the newly elected President of the District Bar Association Mardan, Noor Badshah Toru Advocate, has vowed to lead the legal community in safeguarding the sanctity of the black coat and ensuring the rights of the people.
Addressing a gathering of various delegations at the district bar room, President Toru emphasized the pivotal role lawyers and journalists play as guardians of democracy. He asserted that they would stand as the first force for the supremacy of the constitution and law, resolute in their defense of justice and the rights of the marginalized.
The event saw esteemed guests including Mardan Press Club President M. Bashir Adil, General Secretary Akhunzada Fazle Haq, Peshawar High Court Bar Association President Tariq Afridi Advocate, and EPCA Central General Secretary Aurangzeb Kashmiri, extending their congratulations to President Toru and his team.
President Toru underscored the challenges faced by the legal fraternity, particularly the pressing need for a judicial complex. He reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of lawyers to serve their community, pledging to address their grievances without compromise.
Expressing gratitude to the press club delegation, President Toru recognized journalism as the fourth pillar of the state. He commended the journalists of Mardan for their consistent support and advocacy for the District Bar, promising collaborative efforts for the progress and development of Mardan.
