In a heart-warming celebration of community spirit and cultural heritage, the Wana Welfare Association (WAWA) organized a joyous Eid Milan party on Sunday at the Umma Children Academy in Wana, Lower South Waziristan district. The event, attended by a large gathering of WAWA General Council members, showcased the organization’s commitment to fostering unity and camaraderie among the community.

The festivities kicked off with a mesmerizing display of traditional dance, known as Attan, performed by enthusiastic members of the WAWA General Council. The rhythmic movements and vibrant costumes added a colorful touch to the event, eliciting smiles and applause from the audience.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the organizers arranged a series of traditional sports competitions, including the renowned Waziri game of Khasai, tug of war, and volleyball. These activities not only entertained the participants but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the region. As the celebrations continued, attendees were treated to a sumptuous spread of food and drinks, courtesy of the Eid Milan party organizers. The generous hospitality reflected the spirit of generosity and inclusivity that defines the WAWA community.

Speaking to the media, President Rahmat Ullah Wazir, General Secretary Jalal Wazir, and Owais Wazir expressed their delight at the success of the Eid Milan party.
