Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Zone Syed Asad Raza has announced a substantial reward of Rs2.5 million for anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators. The incident, which occurred in the Metroville area on April 8, involved the brutal killing of two individuals and the looting of approximately Rs10 million. DIG Syed Asad Raza assured that the identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
The announcement of the reward comes in the wake of intensified efforts by law enforcement to apprehend the culprits responsible for the heinous crime. Earlier, images of the alleged suspects involved in a separate robbery of Rs1.35 million in the Site Metroville area were made public. The CCTV footage revealed two individuals riding a motorcycle, with the stolen money visibly placed in a blue shopping bag carried by one of the suspects. The offer of a substantial reward underscores the seriousness with which authorities are pursuing leads to bring the perpetrators to justice.
