Two candidates for National Assembly constituencies and seven for the Punjab Assembly were announced.

Shehzad Farooq was nominated as the PTI-backed independent candidate for NA-119, the seat previously held by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Meanwhile, Sardar Muhammad Hussain Dofra was selected to contest from NA-132 Kasur.

Further candidates endorsed by PTI include Hakeem Nisar for PP-22 Chakwal, Parvaiz Elahi for PP-32 Gujrat, Owais Qasim for PP-54 Narowal, and Aijaz Bhatti for PP-139 Sheikhupura. Additionally, Hafiz Zeeshan was designated as the PTI-backed independent candidate for PP-149, Monis Elahi for PP-158 Lahore, and Yousuf Meo for PP-164 Lahore.

Hammad Azhar mentioned that candidates for the remaining constituencies would be announced at a later stage.
