Indian troops launched a massive search operation in Samba district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops of the Indian Army, Special Operation Group and police personnel conducted the operation in Khirdi and Sarna villages of Nud area of the district.
Meanwhile, Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel also launched search and frisking operations in different towns and areas of Kashmir ahead of the Indian general elections which would be held in five phases from April 19 to May 20 in the territory.
The people mostly youth are being summoned to police stations where they are subjected to harassment.—KMS
