In addition, the KWSC spokesperson highlighted the significance of World Water Day, celebrated annually since 1993 to raise awareness about global water issues and promote sustainable development of water resources. Recognizing water as a fundamental human right crucial for society, economy, and environment, KW&SC plans to celebrate World Water Day under the theme “Water For Peace,” focusing on water conservation, recycling, and reuse. KW&SC expects various organizations, including civil society, multinationals, national NGOs, and government departments like the Ministry of Health and Department of Education, to join efforts in promoting water conservation. Seminars in schools, hospitals, and universities will raise awareness about water reuse, ensuring future generations understand the importance of water conservation and its benefits.
