Congress leader Raman Bhalla has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating peace, governance, and economy in occupied Jammu and Kashmir under the Bharatiya Janata Party regime.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Bhalla in a statement issued in Jammu highlighted the widespread discontent among the people due to soaring prices, record unemployment, and the regime’s failure to address these issues.
He criticized the BJP for its divisive politics and emphasized the need for progressive and democratic policies.
Meanwhile, Taranjit Singh Tony, General Secretary of IIOJK Congress, also criticized the Saffron Party (BJP) for its failure to fulfill promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said the BJP is neglecting the pressing issues facing the territory and reiterated the need for genuine representation and accountability in governance.—KMS
