Industries and Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that Sharif family has nothing to do with the problems of the masses and price-hike. If PML-N leadership had genuine feelings for the masses then their leader would have got himself treated in Pakistan.
Their hospitals, doctors, schools and education institutions are different from others, he added. They invite others to invest in Pakistan while their sons-in-law and sons do their investment abroad, he lamented. PTI do not believe in horse-trading as PML-N managed to form their government by making PML-Q forward block.
Mian Aslam Iqbal expressed these views while talking with media representatives and visitors during holding an open court at Saidpur Wednesday.
He listened to the complaints of masses and issued on-the-spot orders for the redressal of their complaints. He further stated that he will hold an open court at Saidpur every month as people after winning elections go to their homes while we resolve problems of the people because we live and die with the masses.
Most of the people complained about LESCO and overbilling during the open court. He assured them that he will take up this issue before the Prime Minister and their due problems and complaints will be resolved with the Grace of Allah Almighty soon. PTI government is focusing on promoting education.
Owners having less than five marla plots area will be granted interest-free loan up to rupees five lac for construction of their houses.
People aged more than 65 years are being given financial assistance and PTI government is also introducing Rashan Card Scheme soon. In reply to a question, he said that all arrangements are complete with regard to coping up with the dangers of coronavirus and there is nothing to worry about. If any coronavirus case comes to surface then the concerned will be provided best treatment facilities.
Later, Aslam Iqbal distributed interest-free loans cheques among seventy persons under Chief Minister Self Employment Scheme at the Saidpur Grand Mosque.
He further maintained that Punjab government under this scheme has granted rupees twelve billion which are being distributed among the people in order to launch their business under Akhuwat Organization.
PTI government is taking every decision to improve economic conditions of the weak and downtrodden segment of society and we will not let resources decrease for provision of relief to the common man, he vowed.
Later, Mian Aslam Iqbal participated as a chief guest in the annual prize distribution ceremony of Royal Heaven Cambridge School at Sabzazar.
He also distributed prizes among male and female students for showing exemplary performance. Aslam Iqbal also stressed upon teachers to impart moral education to their students besides giving them professional education, concluded Aslam Iqbal.
