Qaim Ali Shah extols Murad’s victory as triumph for democracy

Former Sindh CM and  Qaim Ali Shah celebrated Murad Ali Shah’s victory as a significant milestone for democracy, expressing his felicitations and reiterating Karachi’s inclusive prosperity under Murad Ali Shah’s leadership.Praising the democratic ethos within the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Shah commended Bilawal Bhutto’s meticulous approach to candidate selection, emphasizing the party’s commitment to incorporating public opinion. While addressing the assembly, Shah questioned the opposition’s role beyond mere criticism and reaffirmed PPP’s dedication to serving the people, highlighting the party’s contributions to Sindh’s development.

Defending PPP’s track record, Shah pointed to infrastructure projects like the Thar coal initiative, aimed at addressing energy challenges, and emphasized the importance of sustained development efforts.

Despite the serious tone of the discussion, laughter echoed from PPP members, reflecting a lighter atmosphere in the assembly during Shah’s speech.
