Measures have been taken to provide quality public health facilities and the welfare of medical staff, Dr. Jamal Nasir.
Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Health Care and Population Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that along with providing quality health facilities to the public, measures are also being taken for the welfare of the medical staff. Renovation of Nursing Hostel and College of Nursing in District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi now called Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital is being started. He expressed these views on the occasion of laying the foundation stone for the renovation of Nursing Hostel and College of Nursing.Renovation of nursing hostel and college will cost around 7.25 crore rupees. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Rawalpindi Medical University Dr. Muhammad Umar, MS District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi Dr. Farzana and other officers were also with him. Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir said that steps are being taken to provide quality health facilities to the people as well as for the welfare of the medical staff. Renovation work of nursing hostel and college of nursing has been started in the hospital and the work of college of nursing and hostel will be completed in six months. Standard health facilities are available in the hospital. Practical steps have been taken by the government to provide modern health facilities in the district headquarters hospital.
