ISLAMABAD – Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Awn Chaudhary came down hard upon Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja, saying that he would lodge FIR against him over his actions in NA-128.
“I was declared winner from NA-128 as per Form 47,” he said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday.
He said he had all the evidence and would present complete documents before the commission if asked.
“50 to 60 people wrapped in the lawyers’ uniforms continued to pressurize the RO to get results of their own choice,” alleged Awn Chaudhary while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday.
He stated that only the candidates or their nominated individuals could be allowed in the RO office.
“I wonder Salman Akram said he was there with his family, and 50 to 60 people wearing lawyers’ uniform were present there. How is it possible?,” he questioned.
The IPP leader said that Salman Akram Raja was wearing a gentle look but his real was different. He alleged that these people had developed fake X account of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
“Form 45 which he is presenting is right and Form 45 which I am presenting is wrong,” said the IPP leader. He said it was quite strange that
Chaudhary also alleged that Salman’s associates tortured the staff members of the municipal corporation.
“I will lodge FIR against them as there was a violent situation at the RO office and it became difficult to get the results,” he further said.
He also said that he always respected lawyers.
Chaudhary further said that he would hold another press conference by tomorrow and would unveil many other things about Salman Akram Raja.
“I was declared successful and I will protect it,” said the IPP leader, adding that he would not allow his what he said hooliganism’.
It may be mentioned here that Awn Chaudhary was declared winner in the beginning, and Salman Akram Raja approached the Lahore High Court for stay on the results. The court stayed the results, and later, the reports surfaced that notification of his victory was suspended.
