The recently elected Member of Punjab Assembly, Syed Ejaz Hussain Bukhari, who garnered support from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Attock, has vehemently condemned the overnight conversion of victory into defeat for PTI-supported independent candidate Major (Rtd) Tahir Sadiq. Expressing strong disapproval, Bukhari demanded the immediate dismissal of false FIRs against Major (Rtd) Tahir Sadiq, his wife, two daughters, and other peaceful supporters of PTI.

Addressing the media at Al-Murtaza House in a special conversation, Bukhari asserted, “It is the constitutional right of every citizen to protest peacefully, and false cases against those exercising this right must be dropped promptly.” He expressed gratitude to the people of Attock for their trust and support, stating, “I am grateful to the people of Attock that they have given me victory by trusting me fully.”

Bukhari claimed that the purported victory of Pakistan Muslim League-N (N) had unraveled and predicted a challenging future for the party in Punjab. “The fake victory of Pakistan Muslim League-N (N) has exploded, and they will not even find a place to hide their heads in Punjab,” he declared, emphasizing that the alleged injustice done to Tehreek-e-Insaf had been repaid with votes.

Refuting any possibility of switching parties, Bukhari affirmed his commitment to PTI, saying, “I can never think of going to any other party, and may Allah curse those who spread false propaganda.”
