As Pakistanis are looking for results and updates about the general elections, the polling for which concluded on Thursday, people are facing disruption of X, former Twitter, services.
Users of microblogging platform reported outage across the country with internet watchdog organization Netblocks also reporting the disruption to the platform.

Between 4-6pm on Saturday, social media users were struggling to access X in South Asian nation, with some linked it with election rigging.
Journalists, rights activists expressed concern that frequent shutdowns were compromising transparency and being used to manipulate results. Amid the disruption, social media users are now using VPN to access X while others lamented censorship.
PTI Karachi handle also shared highlighted that X services were experiencing widespread slowdowns across the country.
ECP is moving at snail’s pace to announce election results, and it is casting shadow on the election that was already marred by different issues.
As per latest tally by ECP, independent candidates are in driving seat with 100 seats under their belt while PML-N is trailing closely behind with 71 seats and PPP with 54 seats.
