A non-Kashmiri, who was injured in a firing incident, yesterday, Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Rohit Masih, hailing from the Indian state of Punjab, succumbed to his bullet injuries at a hospital in Srinagar, today. With this, the death toll in the incident rose to two.
Earlier, another worker from the Indian Punjab, Amritpal Singh, was killed after unknown persons opened fire in Habba Kadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday evening.
Rohit Masih who was injured in the incident was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar in a critical condition on Wednesday night where he expired on Thursday morning.—KMS
