At least five people were injured when over speeding passenger bus hit a car here in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to details, a Lahore bound passenger bus coming from Fort Abbas rammed into a private car in Bahawalnagar.
As a result of collision, five people sustained serious injuries. Bus driver fled the scene. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where condition of one wounded person was stated to be critical. The police impounded the vehicle and after registering a case against the driver at large started raids for his arrest.—INP
