Election security plan for Hazara finalized

Hazara Police has completed the security and other arrangements for the General Election 2024 as 392 polling stations are declared most sensitive, 982 polling stations declared sensitive for which more than 15000 police officers and jawans will perform their duties.

A meeting was held with DPOs of eight districts of Hazara regarding General Election 2024 under the chairmanship of Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara Muhammad Ijaz Khan. The entire DPOs of Hazara region presented a briefing regarding the fair, transparent and peaceful conduct of elections in their respective districts. DIG Hazara Mohammad Ijaz Khan reviewed the security and other arrangements of the districts in detail and declared the security satisfactory.imely arrangements should be made to ensure the security and law and order of all rallies and processions, Muhammad Ijaz Khan.

The code of conduct should be strictly implemented and a complete ban should be imposed on display of weapons and provocative speeches and statements say DIG Hazara. A total of 2862 polling stations will be established by the Election Commission in Hazara region, in which 392 polling stations were declared as the most sensitive and 982 polling stations were declared as sensitive. Beside the District Police, FRP, Elite Force, Bomb Disposal Squad, Canine Unit, Special Branch, CTD, Ladies Police and Ministerial Staff will perform duties. Special training has been given to all police officers and youths on duty regarding election security.
