Sindh Governor initiates IT classes, unveils progress plans]

Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, announced the commencement of IT classes starting from February 6th during a press conference at Governor House. The newly constructed IT University spans 24,000 square feet and houses over 300 computer labs, washrooms, and a dedicated power supply infrastructure costing 1.5 billion PKR.

Governor Tessori expressed gratitude, stating that this initiative is a result of collaborative efforts with JDC Trust. Governor Sindh highlighted that the first phase will see the distribution of 1,700 bikes out of the 10,000 requests received for motorcycles.

He revealed that the Governor’s House has received around 1.4 million visitors to date.  Emphasizing the significance of online education, Governor Sindh explained that the one-year course will bring in millions of dollars to Pakistan and cater to around four lakh students who could not pass the test through online learning. He assured that all students would be notified via email.

Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, acknowledged the contribution of Jay Dee Cee Trust, forming an 11-member trust to oversee the IT University’s operations. He stated that IT classes would be a game-changer, providing employment opportunities across Sindh. Regarding unemployment, Governor Tessori mentioned that Army Chief is also working on economic stability, providing jobs and meals to the people. He urged collaborative efforts with social activist Basheer Farooqi to build a better society.

Governor Tessori addressed rumors on social media about project completion, asserting that it is fully operational. He vowed to eradicate anti-state elements and expressed confidence in General Asim Munir’s vision to elevate the country’s economy. He also hinted at substantial foreign investments through the International Finance Corporation post-elections.
