LAHORE – The Government College University (GCU) Lahore opened its doors to new applicants for the undergraduate spring 2024 admissions on Monday, offering admissions in over 28 disciplines across its main and new campuses.

The university has invited applications for various programs, including cutting-edge fields like Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Environmental Science, alongside traditional subjects such as History, Philosophy, Persian, and Urdu.

Reviving its tradition, the University offers admissions on an open merit basis, except for BS Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science, where an aptitude-based entrance test is mandatory.

An entrance test is also required for BS Physical Education and Sports Sciences admissions.

To facilitate applicants, the University is accepting admission forms online via its official portal as well as manually through its admissions office.

The application fee has been substantially reduced to Rs.500 for each discipline and basis.

Financial aid and reduced fees are available for qualifying students, highlighting GCU’s commitment to inclusivity and support for disadvantaged groups.

Special consideration is given to a two-percent quota for the Disabled and Minorities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive campus culture.

Prof. Ahmad Adnan, Vice Chancellor of GCU Lahore, urges all aspiring students to seize this opportunity to join a historic institution renowned for its legacy of excellence and innovation in higher education.
