Dr Syed Kalim Imam, PSP, on Wednesday assumed charge as Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police.
He is the 18th Inspector General of National Highways & Motorway Police.
According to a handout issued by the National Highways & Motorways, during his illustrious career, Kalim Imam undertook various important assignments including Inspector General of Police Sindh, IGP Islamabad Police and IGP Punjab.
On his arrival at NHMP Headquarters in Islamabad, the new police chief was presented a Guard of Honour subsequent to which he held meetings with his staff officers. The new commander pledged his resolve to strengthen the organization for improved public service.
