LAHORE – The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Punjab has ‘Excise at your doorstep’ service in provincial capital Lahore to provide facility of vehicle registration and transfer to the citizens at their homes.

Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman inaugurated the ‘Dahleez App’ at a ceremony held at DG Excise Office a day earlier.

Speaking at the event, Zaman said the launch of ‘Dahleez App’ and ‘E-Registration Card’ by the Excise Department was an important step towards digitization.

DG Excise Muhammad Ali said that in the first phase, “Excise at your doorstep” service has been launched in Lahore, adding that it would be extended to entire province.

He explained that the excise department officials would reach the homes of the citizens to provide them vehicle registration and transfer services.

He said that the fee would be paid through online banking, adding that registration number will be provided to the citizens on the spot.

How to Register or Transfer Ownership of Vehicles at Doorstep

Citizens are required to make a call on the Punjab Information Technology Board’s helpline 080008786 to book an appointment for the registration and transfer of their vehicles.

After the appointment, an official of the Excise Department will visit you at the given address

The fee for new registration or transfer of vehicle would be paid through online channels

The department official will provide the payment slip ID (PSID) at your doorstep.

The vehicle owner will be allotted the registration number on the spot

The documents will be dispatched back to the applicant through Pakistan Post after being scanned at the excise office.
