LDA demolishes several illegal buildings in Lahore

LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday demolished several buildings in Lahore for violation of bylaws.

LDA teams demolished eight illegal buildings during an operation in Samanabad, Fateh Garh and Multan Road.

LDa teams demolished a marriage hall constructed on three residential plots near Suzo Water Park.

LDA razed a car showroom in Samanabad, three shops in Fateh Garh and pillars of illegal buildings on Multan Road.

As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before demolition operation.

Director Town Planning-I Ayesha Matahir carried out the operation with the help of enforcement teams, Police and heavy machinery.

LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
