Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Lahore on Tuesday to attend the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting scheduled for January 3.
Bilawal will chair the meeting at Bilawal House, Lahore, where the senior leadership of PPP will also be present. The CEC will deliberate on the current political landscape of the country.
“Discussions will encompass various topics, including the PPP manifesto and the election campaign strategy for the polls scheduled for February 8,” said the sources.
Besides it, Bilawal is scheduled to address a workers’ convention at Adda Plot, Raiwind Road, during which former provincial minister and PML-N leader Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor is expected to announce his affiliation with the PPP.
The sources said that the PPP has finalized 90 percent of its candidates in Punjab, with Bilawal Bhutto personally selecting candidates for the provincial seats in NA-127.
